Polyurethane hot melt

Heat-resistant urethane-based hot melt (reactive hot melt) with excellent properties due to bridging reactions.

Conventional hot melts have limitations in heat resistance because they are used by heating and melting thermoplastic resins. To compensate for this drawback in heat resistance, a reactive component is added to the hot melt, which forms a cross-linked structure after application. This is known as moisture-curing urethane-based hot melt (reactive hot melt). **Features** - The application temperature is low at 120°C, allowing it to be applied to heat-sensitive films and other materials. - It can bond various materials such as wood, plastic, aluminum, painted steel sheets, and inorganic materials. - Being urethane-based, it has good low-temperature properties and excellent cold resistance. - Compared to conventional hot melts, it has a longer open time, providing a wider range of permissible working time. **Main Applications** - Bonding of building materials (profile wrapping, sandwich panels, etc.) - Assembly of parts for residential equipment (water-related areas) - Assembly of interior parts such as automotive ceilings and door trims - Assembly of exterior parts such as automotive headlamps and tail lamps - IC cards - Textiles

Olefins-based hot melt

Olefin-based hot melt that can bond to PP and PE without surface treatment.

When bonding olefin resins such as polyethylene and polypropylene, surface modification such as corona treatment, plasma treatment, or primer treatment was required. However, using polyolefin allows for bonding without surface treatment. Additionally, the open time is of moderate length, making it suitable for assembling various materials. 【Applications】 ■ Assembly of parts for automobiles, electronics, and housing equipment ■ Pleating processing of filters and bonding with frames ■ Packaging for food and beverages ■ Anti-slip for preventing load shifting, etc. 【Main Product Numbers】 ■ A-51: Excellent thermal stability under continuous heating, suppresses nozzle clogging due to carbonization. Mainly suitable for bonding cardboard and straws. ■ M-36: High softening point with good heat resistance. Proven use in gas appliances. ■ M-55: Capable of bonding various plastics, including difficult-to-bond PET. ■ AM-1510: A light yellow hot melt that is low-priced among olefin types.

Polyamide-based hot melt

Polyamide-based hot melt with excellent electrical insulation and heat resistance.

"Polyamide-based" is an environmentally friendly hot melt primarily made from plant-derived natural fatty acids (dimer acid). It has good adhesion to various plastics and metals, and excels in heat resistance, flexibility, and electrical insulation. [Features] - The viscosity change with temperature is sharp. - A wide range of types can be selected for heat resistance (softening point) and hardness. - There are also flame-retardant grades (UL94V-0 approved products and equivalents). [Main Applications] - Filter pleats for clean room air conditioning - Potting and molding of electrical and electronic components - Other applications requiring chemical resistance
